We are looking for an experienced Accountant, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The Accountant must also have sound knowledge on Company taxation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and variance analysis reports
• Overseeing Payroll
• Prepare and publish timely monthly management accounts
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, and governmental reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary, preparing business plans and financial strategies

Requirements:

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing principles
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems, as well as MS Excel and other financial tools
• Attention to detail, accuracy in financial data entry, and excellent organizational skills
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present insights effectively
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and tax compliance standards
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Certification like ACCA or CPA is a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with different teams and stakeholders
• Previous experience in the engineering, construction, or related industries would be considered an asset
